New EU Legislation

Please note that due to new EU legislation, all replacement catalytic converters fitted to cars registered on or after March 2001, must have an EU Type Approval. Click here for more information. Those cats with this approval are shown when you view your search results. Some approvals are pending and therefore will not show pricing. Ceramic Catalysts

This entry-level catalyst is of the type fitted to most vehicles in the UK. They are satisfactory for aftermarket use and are of similar quality to OE catalysts. For vehicles registered after March 2001, Type Approvals are necessary. It is ceramic-type catalysts that Type Approvals are being sought for.

Metallic Catalysts

These catalysts are of a higher spec than ceramic catalysts and are freer flowing. However, it is more difficult to gain Type Approvals for these type of substrates and so they only available for cars registered before March 2001.

Front Pipes and Link Pipes
