For a more advanced air intake modification, an induction kit will ensure faster air intake and improved throttle response. Each kit is designed to replace the existing air box (where applicable) with a conical or cylindrical high-flow sports filter, together with all necessary tubing, fittings and fixings. Performance improvement varies depending on each application, but you should expect a few BHP increase.

For specific car projects where an induction kit is not available, Jetex stock a wide range of conical air filters for air intakes ranging from 8mm to 155mm. Engine capacities up to 490 BHP are catered for so you can be sure that there is a filter available whatever the application! Many cones are available with either rubber or chrome end caps.

These filters can be used in the same way as Jetex cone filters. The only difference being the shape of the filter. Again, these are ideal for specific car projects where an induction kit is not available. Air intakes ranging from 12mm to 150mm and engine capacities of up to 834 BHP are catered for, so you can be sure that there is a filter available whatever the application! Most cones are available with rubber end caps although there are a few in chrome. Jetex also stock a range of breather filters from 12mm to 16mm intake diameter.

Each Jetex colour filter is designed to incorporate an inverted cone filter in the end cap to help increase air intake volume. The colour range cones are available in four colours; Black, Blue, Red and Yellow, fit air intakes from 65mm to 100mm and cater for engine capacities of up to 270 BHP.

Jetex S-Type filters are ideal for engines using carburettors or vertical injector units. The filter has a large surface area to ensure maximum filtration and will sit on top of intake units ranging from 55mm to 90mm. S-Type filters retail at £33.00 including VAT.

Engine performance is enhanced with a cold, dense air charge. An addition to Jetex's induction kit range is the direct cold air filtration kit (DCAF), comprising an inverted cone filter and cold air feed that attaches directly to the end of the cone. This allows air to pass straight through the cone filter and into the engine. Faster air flow means increased throttle response and improved engine response.
