All Rapid kits are supplied with a switch facility. This will allow you to turn the kit on and off (modified to original settings). This is ideal for 2 reasons:

1. Warranty purposes. When you take your car in for a service, the kit can be disconnected or turned off. It will therefore not affect any diagnostic tests.
2. Transferable. This unit can be transferred from car to another. All you need is a Rapid Tuning Module which will allow you to reset the unit according to the specific parameters of your new car.

Where possible, Rapid use original connectors to ensure the highest quality and ease of fitting - essential for electronic units.

The electronics inside each Rapid unit are surrounded by a moisture resistant gel. The edging is also insulated to keep the unit compact and corrosion free.

It is essential that the unit is kept free of dirt and should be located in a secure, dry part of the engine.
